Peregrine, pronounced PEAR-eh-grin, is a name of Latin origin meaning "traveler," "pilgrim," and "one from abroad." The name Peregrine also has connections to the soaring and diving peregrine falcon who is "breathtakingly fast," the fastest bird in the world.
